The YouTube Video Generator recreates the layout of an actual YouTube watch page — a 16:9 video/thumbnail area, the video title, a channel row with avatar, name, subscriber count and a Subscribe button, view count and upload date, like/dislike counts, and a description box.
This is different from a YouTube Shorts mockup, which is a full-bleed vertical layout styled after the Shorts feed. This tool instead mimics the standard landscape watch page you see when you open a regular long-form YouTube video.
For entertainment and design use only: this tool is built for jokes, memes, thumbnails for scripts, presentation slides, UI/UX prototypes and social media content. It must never be used to fabricate fraudulent evidence, harass or defame someone, or impersonate a real channel's actual video — doing so can be illegal depending on your jurisdiction and is strictly against the intended use of this tool.
Nothing you type ever leaves your device — the whole mockup is rendered with the HTML Canvas API directly in your browser, and the PNG is generated and downloaded locally. There is no server upload, no account and no tracking of your content.

Does the tool upload my content anywhere?
No. Every title, image, name and stat you enter stays in your browser's memory and is drawn directly onto a canvas element using JavaScript. The PNG file is generated and downloaded on your device — nothing is ever sent to any server.
Should I use this or the YouTube Shorts Generator instead?
If you're mocking up a standard long-form video the way it looks on the regular watch page — landscape thumbnail, title, channel row, description — use this generator. If you're mocking up a vertical, full-screen Shorts-style clip with the action rail on the side (like TikTok or Instagram Reels), use the YouTube Shorts Generator instead, since the two layouts are genuinely different.
Can I upload a real thumbnail image?
Yes. Upload any image to use as the 16:9 thumbnail/video area — it's cropped and centered automatically. If you skip this, the area falls back to a two-color gradient with a play button, which you can also customize.
What image size does it export?
The preview and exported PNG use a landscape 16:9-friendly aspect ratio suited to how YouTube's watch page actually looks, which makes it easy to drop into a presentation slide or a script storyboard.
