Pag-IBIG Contribution Calculator — Philippines

Last updated:

Your Pag-IBIG (HDMF) Fund contribution is a percentage of your Monthly Fund Salary (MFS), capped at ₱10,000, split between you and your employer. Enter your monthly compensation to estimate your employee share, your employer's share, and the total.

Based on HDMF Circular No. 460 (effective February 2024, still in force in 2026): Monthly Fund Salary (MFS) is capped at ₱10,000, regardless of your actual salary. For MFS ₱1,500 and below, the employee contributes 1% and the employer 2%. For MFS above ₱1,500 up to ₱10,000, both employee and employer contribute 2% each. Because MFS is capped at ₱10,000, each side's contribution tops out at ₱200/month (₱400/month combined) no matter how high your actual salary is. Check the official Pag-IBIG Fund site for updates. What Is This Tool?

The Pag-IBIG Fund (Home Development Mutual Fund, HDMF) is the Philippines' national savings and housing loan program. Both employees and employers contribute monthly, based on the employee's Monthly Fund Salary (MFS) — a figure derived from actual compensation but capped at a fixed ceiling.

Under HDMF Circular No. 460, effective February 2024 and still in force through 2026, the Monthly Fund Salary ceiling is ₱10,000 — meaning contributions are computed on at most ₱10,000 of compensation, regardless of how much more you actually earn. For MFS of ₱1,500 or below, the employee contributes 1% and the employer 2%. For MFS above ₱1,500 up to ₱10,000, both employee and employer contribute 2% each.

Because the MFS ceiling is ₱10,000, the maximum any employee or employer pays is ₱200/month each (₱400/month combined) — even for high earners well above ₱10,000/month.

Why Use It?

  • Applies the current MFS ceiling of ₱10,000 and the correct 1%/2% employee bracket split, not an outdated pre-2024 schedule.
  • Shows both employee and employer shares separately.
  • Free and instant — no signup, the calculation runs entirely in your browser.

How to Use

  1. Enter your monthly compensation in Philippine pesos.
  2. The calculator caps your Monthly Fund Salary (MFS) at ₱10,000 if your compensation is higher.
  3. Read your estimated employee share, employer share, and total monthly contribution.

Example

Input

Monthly compensation ₱25,000

Output

MFS (capped): ₱10,000 — Employee share: ₱200.00 — Employer share: ₱200.00 — Total: ₱400.00

Because ₱25,000 exceeds the ₱10,000 MFS ceiling, the MFS used for computation is capped at ₱10,000. Since MFS > ₱1,500, both employee and employer contribute 2%: 2% × ₱10,000 = ₱200 each, for a combined ₱400/month — the maximum possible Pag-IBIG contribution regardless of actual salary.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Monthly Fund Salary (MFS) ceiling?

Since HDMF Circular No. 460 took effect in February 2024, the MFS ceiling is ₱10,000. If your actual compensation is higher, your Pag-IBIG contribution is still computed on ₱10,000, not your full salary.

What contribution rate applies to my salary?

If your Monthly Fund Salary is ₱1,500 or below, you contribute 1% and your employer contributes 2%. If your MFS is above ₱1,500 (up to the ₱10,000 ceiling), both you and your employer contribute 2% each.

What's the maximum I'll ever pay per month?

Since the MFS is capped at ₱10,000 and the top employee rate is 2%, the maximum employee contribution is ₱200/month, and the maximum employer contribution is also ₱200/month — ₱400/month combined, regardless of how much more you earn.

Can I contribute more than the minimum voluntarily?

Yes. Pag-IBIG allows members to make additional voluntary savings on top of the mandatory contribution, which earns dividends and can be withdrawn later. This calculator estimates only the mandatory contribution.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. The calculation runs with JavaScript directly in your browser; your salary is never sent to a server or stored anywhere.
