Does the tool upload my messages or photo anywhere?
No. Every message, name, photo and setting you enter stays in your browser's memory and is drawn directly onto a canvas element using JavaScript. The PNG file is generated and downloaded on your device — nothing is ever sent to any server.
Should I use this or the WeChat chat generator instead?
Use this one if the scene needs LINE's softer, more rounded green bubbles, which is the recognizable look in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand; use the WeChat Chat Generator instead if you need WeChat's more square-cornered bubble shape, which is more recognizable in mainland China.
Can I upload a real photo as the avatar?
Yes. Click "Upload photo" to use any image from your device as the contact's avatar — it's cropped to a circle automatically. If you skip this, the avatar falls back to a colored circle with the contact's initials. The photo is only used locally in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere.
What image size does it export?
The preview and exported PNG use a phone-screen aspect ratio (375×812 by default), which looks natural when shared on social media or embedded in a presentation.
Can I build a back-and-forth conversation with more than two messages?
Yes. You can add as many message rows as the scene needs, each assigned independently to "them" or "me", so you can build a long back-and-forth thread rather than just a single exchange.
Can I make it look like an unread notification instead of an open chat?
The tool renders the open conversation view rather than a lock-screen notification banner. For a notification-style mockup, use a single short incoming message and crop the exported PNG to the header area, or pair it with a phone status-bar mockup.
Does it support emoji in messages?
Yes, you can type standard emoji directly into any message and they render inside the bubble the same way they would in the real LINE app. Custom LINE stickers are not reproduced since they are copyrighted assets.
Can I change the read-receipt status after adding a message?
Yes, each of your own outgoing messages has its own read-receipt toggle, and you can flip it at any time before exporting — useful for showing a message that was sent but not yet seen.
Will the exported image have a transparent background?
