Tips for turning a generated title into your own
- Swap the noun for something specific to your story — "The Broken Crown" becomes "The Broken Vow" if your fantasy hinges on a betrayed promise instead of a literal crown.
- Mystery titles work best when they ask a question the chapter doesn't fully answer — keep the vagueness intentional rather than smoothing it into a spoiler.
- Romance titles land harder when they reference a concrete moment (a door, a text message, a goodbye) rather than an abstract feeling like "love" or "heartbreak."
- For Sci-Fi, technical-sounding nouns (Signal, Protocol, Horizon) age better across a long series than trendy slang, which can date a title within a few years.
