This tool pairs a first-name word bank (celestial-sounding invented names like Uriel, Raziel, Seraphina, Auriel) with an optional title word bank (of Light, the Radiant, the Guardian, of Dawn) to generate full angel names.

When to use a title, and when to skip it
A title does real narrative work beyond sounding grand: "Uriel the Radiant" or "Seraphina of Dawn" tells a reader or player something about the character's role or domain in a single phrase, which is useful for a major character the audience needs to place quickly. For a background angel who appears in one scene, the plain first name alone is usually enough and avoids the reader having to track a longer name for someone who won't reappear.
If you're naming a whole celestial order or choir, consider generating extra batches and reusing the same title, or a small cluster of thematically similar titles (of Light, the Radiant, of Dawn), across every member — real angelic hierarchies are typically grouped by shared domain rather than each angel carrying a completely unique epithet.

You'll always get a first name — the title is what's optional, added to roughly half the results in any batch. If you want a plain first name, just pick one of the entries in the batch that came out without a title attached.
Will two different angel characters end up with the same title?
It's possible within the same session since the title bank is limited in size, but titles like "of Light" or "the Guardian" are meant to be shared across multiple angels in most mythologies anyway — reusing one across characters from the same order can actually reinforce that they belong together.
Do the male and female name banks overlap?
